As a photographer, fitness coach, graphic designer, and breakfast addict, I spend my days with really cool people like you. So, how’d I decide to get started on this journey? It’s not a long story, so let me get you the deets…
looking at other artwork by talented people
making new friends in new places
long road trips with no real destination
the grunt work.
After graduating from a small liberal arts college in the Chicago suburbs, I packed a couple of bags and moved to New York, where I was convinced that I was going to live out my small-torn-girl, big-city-living dreams. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. NYC chewed me up and spit me out.
I got offered a job in California and landed back in my hometown. I was convinced I was dumped back in “Rivertucky” to start fresh. Not only did I get right back into CrossFit (this really weird cult thing I had fallen in love with during college), I was able to reconnect with family and friends.
"You're always busy."
…a common phrase I’ve been hearing from friends and family since returning to California in 2014. But I love it. I work really hard, meet cool people all the time, eat good food, and the time spent on the road satisfies those little spots of wanderlust still lingering in me.
